Karen King, MS appointed as Vice President, Strategy and Operations, I-ACT for Children

The Institute for Advanced Clinical Trials for Children (I-ACT for Children) welcomes Karen King to its senior leadership team, as Vice President, Strategy and Operations. Ms. King has nearly 20 years of successful experience in the development and commercialization of biopharmaceutical products. She has strong strategic planning, project management, and analytical skills, with specific expertise in clinical program and study design, regulatory strategy and submissions, alliance and vendor management, and clinical operations team management. Most recently, Ms. King was a biotechnology consultant at SciLucent, LLC, having previously held various roles in the Biotechnology/Biopharmaceutical industry including with GD Searle/Pharmacia, MedImmune, Shire, and Macrogenics. She holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Tufts University and a Master of Science degree in Biotechnology from Northwestern University.
